Andrew Hargreaves

After spending 11 successful years working for large UK banks, giving holistic advice to private clients, Andrew was invited to establish his own Practice within St. James's Place in order to enhance the service provision to his clients and build upon previous successes.

About

Andrew sees the investment due diligence carried out by St. James's Place and the investment committee as a pivotal component of him being able to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for his clients.

His philosophy focuses on maintaining a long-term trusted relationship with his clients, showing distinct quality, integrity and excellence, which in turn gives them peace of mind. His team offer clients a bespoke and high level face-to-face personal service, taking time to really get to know clients before offering advice, which explains why many clients are introduced to the Practice from personal recommendations.

He has found that, although his clients share similar concerns, they all need individual solutions and strategies. As such, formulating a personal and bespoke strategy forms the basis of Andrew's approach. Many have received financial advice in the past, however the overwhelming feeling is that it is fragmented or perhaps no longer relevant. To meet your objectives, financial planning has to look at the complete picture.

This ethos, combined with the services and support of St. James's Place, has given him a renewed sense of excitement and purpose.

Andrew now lives in Tunbridge Wells with his wife Gemma and daughter Freya. When not helping clients, he likes rugby, cricket keeping fit and eating out. He is also a keen but poor golfer, and enjoys skiing when time permits. His interest in keeping fit has allowed him not only to support the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation by contributing monthly covenants, but by also completing the 2012 London Marathon & the St. James's Place Mont Ventoux challenge.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

The Partner Practice is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the Group’s wealth management products and services, more details of which are set out on the Group’s website www.sjp.co.uk/products.
